Nature at Riggles

Things To See and Do

You can walk in our special “County Wildlife site" woodland; where there are numerous species of wild flowers and birds. We also have bats, foxes and  deer (of course) amongst the other species you might see.

You can visit the garden where we grow organic fruit and vegetables. You can even help out if you are inclined.

If you would rather relax in the beautiful gardens you can sit on the deck by the pond listening to the sound of the waterfalls. For something more active we have a garden swing or for the more adventurous you can go wild swimming in our largest pond.

You may prefer to walk to the "Heart Ridge" for some dramatic views. Other local walks and cycle routes can be recommended that will not involve any driving.

We have very little light pollution and a high elevation giving the opportunity, on clear nights, for excellent star gazing.
